Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver from Southern California, answers a late-night call asking for a ride. Already dressed in his pajamas, he reluctantly accepts and takes along a man, Tây (Dustin Nguyen), and his two companions. But the men, convicts who recently escaped from an Orange County jail, take Long hostage at gunpoint and force him to cooperate in their escape plan. When complications arise, the escapees and their hostage hole up in a motel, and a thrilling waiting game begins.
